Because we are a not for profit organization funds are always needed to help keep our ministry going. Also, volunteers are needed to help assist with donations, sorting clothes, day to day operations, and holiday events. Toys, clothes, and food donations are also a vital part in keeping our ministry alive. |

The answer is yes and no. There are other charities that offer food and clothing some even offer shelter, but with Safehouse we offer the word of God to those who have fallen thru the cracks of traditional churches. We don't just offer a handout, we offer a helping hand to get our members off the street and adjusted back into society. Also, no one collects a paycheck from Safehouse, we operate on volunteer hours/donations only so every donation goes straight to help those in need. |
