The mission of SafeHouse of Jacksonville Inc. Outreach Ministry is to go out into all the neighborhoods sharing God's word, showing others God's love, to help those in need with food, clothing, direction and support. To provide practical, emotional and physical assistance to those we meet. Assisting them in living a healthy and productive life.
SafeHouse of Jacksonville Inc. Outreach Ministry is a not for profit faith based organization. Reverend Howell who wants to make a difference in the lives of everyone he meets.
Our Mission "Catch The Vision"
In September 2009 SafeHouse of Jacksonville gave food to 894 people. In October 2009 SafeHouse of Jacksonville gave food to 726 people.
This number is only going to increase, this is why we need your help, your donation of food and or financial assistance is needed. What you give to SafeHouse, stays in SafeHouse to purchase food and maintanin our financial needs. If you are able to help, please do so, God will bless the blesser. Thank you for giving.
Company History
SafeHouse of Jacksonville was founded in 2001 by Pastor Joe Howell. It began with Pastor Joe and his wife Lottie giving out meals and sharing the word of God on the streets of Jacksonville. Over time, they were able to raise enough funds to rent a location in which to disperse food and clothing from. Since then the center has been expanded twice and is now fully operational Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Schedule:
Tuesday night Bible study at 6:30pm.
Friday evening Celebrate Recovery at 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
Sunday we have Sunday School at 9am and Worship service at 10am.
It is by God working through people like you that this Ministry continues to thrive, offering hope and a helping hand to those in need.
