I would like to introduce myself; I am Pastor Joseph Howell with SafeHouse of Jacksonville.
As you look at our site there are many things you will see about our ministry, we are located on the Westside of Jacksonville, but we serve all of Jacksonville. We help those in need with food and clothing, once the physical need has been met, then we can minister to their spiritual need. We have services on Sunday at 9 am, Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m., and a special program on Friday nights at 6 p.m. We hope you will join us for any of these, it would be our honor to meet you.
SafeHouse is run on donations and pledge partners, people just like you who believe in what it is we do and want to be a part of it, for that same reason we are also supported by several church?s in Jacksonville. Here at SafeHouse we show God?s love and share God?s word, that all may know and accept the love of Christ. And for that reason we are moving to a larger building this year, where we will implement several new programs, one being Second Chance, a six month program working with individuals who may need help getting back on their feet and finding their way, the right way, which can only be done through the love and mercy of Jesus Christ.
SafeHouse is always in need of volunteers to help out in our pantry, clothes closet, even with the cleaning of the offices and sanctuary, so if you would like to help out, please call us and set up a time to meet you, we would love to have you join our team. We are also in need of food and clothing, we have food programs 4 days a week, and we give clothes M-F from 10-2:30 p.m. And with the weather nowadays you never know what to wear.
I pray as you look through our site you will be blessed to see what God is doing through SafeHouse. God is opening doors that no man can close, and He will do the same for you, trust and believe that with God, all things are possible.
