Greetings Friends and Family,

            July, man this year is going by quickly, and there is always more than plenty of work to be done.

            New location update, God has shown favor on us, and we will be moving into the new location in the next week or so, so please keep this in your prayer and call us at the number below to see where we are in our progress.

            We want to thank all our partners and friends for your financial support, prayers and donations, a special thank you to our new volunteers, all of you make what we do possible. We are in need of more food drives, if you, your community, work place or church are interested in doing a food drive please contact Pastor Joe Howell to coordinate with him on these efforts. Our numbers of families in need of help have doubled in the past two months; unfortunately our finances and pantry have not. So get involved with us and see what a difference it will make not only in your life, but in the lives of those in our community. God is faithful to bless the blesser.

            Next month we will be sporting a new look, after almost 10 years SafeHouse of Jacksonville is getting a face change.            Thanks to a new sponsor Money Pages, who is a blessing to us, they have designed a whole new look for us, we are excited about this change and know you will love it. God is sending the people we need to expand and be able to do more for our community, if you would like to volunteer please call Ms. Nellie Porter, she is in charge of our volunteers, and is great in putting them where their gifts can do the most good.

            Don’t forget to visit our web site to keep up with everything that is going on, we are working on a few outreach projects this month and will need many to help. I know you will be blessed; there is nothing better than knowing you have helped others in their time of need.
