I praise God in all things. I give Him the honor and glory in everything.
I want to share the good news with you that we have just received: SafeHouse of Jacksonville is moving. We have been at our current location almost 10 years, now God has opened the doors for us to have a bigger building, we will still be in the Westside, only 5 minutes from our current location. Our new address will be 540 Owen Ave, right off Lenox and Owen Ave. I want to thank each of you for your prayers; it has been a long time coming, thank you Jesus. By the way this month is our annual Pledge Partner Drive, we are always looking for new partners, it‘s a way for you to be part of what we do by supporting what we do. There are several ways to do this, we ask that you make a pledge to support SafeHouse for 12 months, the amount can be $25.00, 50, 100, 1000, you can pledge a certain amount for 12 months, or you can make a one time donation. This can also be done at our web site, so you don’t have to fuss with writing checks, finding a stamp, just go to our site and click on the donation page, it is safe and secure. We depend on our pledge partners as this is the only income SafeHouse has, we don’t get grants, state or government funds. We are solely supported by you and people just like you who believe in what we do, helping those in need, its what we have all been called to do “love thy neighbor”. So become a partner today, if you are already a partner of SafeHouse, pray about increasing your monthly pledge, if you would like more information about becoming a pledge partner call Lottie at 904-425-4228.
This Saturday March 6th at 9 am is our Volunteer Banquet for all our volunteers that helped us last year, but we need to know who you are, the banquet will be held at Edgewood Bakery Banquet Hall, breakfast will be served free of charge, so please join us as we give thanks to all the people who helped us out last year, but please call Lottie at 904-425-4228 so we have a count, we don’t want to leave anyone out.
Sunday March 7th we are inviting all our SafeHouse members and partners to join us at Biltmore Baptist Church (on Edgewood) as we join together in praise and worship, service is at 10:30 am and we will have dinner on the grounds afterwards. All are welcome to join us, so please come.
